Hello everybody i am Subodh from india want to describe about my home town darjeeling. It’s very beautiful place in the valley of Himalaya is internationally famous for its tea industry and Darjeeling Himalayan Railway a UNESCO world Heritage Site. Darjeeling is famous for tea, its produces worlds finest tea(Black Tea, Green Tea & Leaf Tea). In Darjeeling district you can find out of lots of interesting and amazing things like Tiger Hill, Red Panda, Snow Leopard, Elephant, Royal Bengal Tiger but the most attracting thing is Tea Gardens. The main industry of this place is Tea and Travel so we can say that its truly environment friendly place, it have some of IT Parks and SEZs Here. The First Look when sun rises then Tiger Hill Looks like Golden Hill its really amazing feeling but not more often because of there’s cloudy weather. In winter season snow fall is also very good looking and little rainy weather whole year thats suits for Tea Garden.
In this valley the most attracting thing is tea gardens, Tiger Hill, Darjeeling Himalayan Railway(Toy Train) and Wild Life.
- Tea Garden – Darjeeling is world famous for its Tea. It produces finest Tea in the world(Black Tea, Green Tea, Leaf Tea and CTC Tea) and the tea garden looks very beautiful.
- Tiger Hill – Darjeeling is also famous for his Tiger Hill the Hill looks like golden hell in the of sunset or sunrise. You can also see Kanchenjunga the world’s third highest peak.
- Darjeeling Himalayan Railway – It famous as Darjeeling Toy Train a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1999.
- Wild Life – Animals found here include the one horned Rahinoceros, Tiger, Elephant, Leopard, Hog Deer and Red Panda.
